BeiJing Olympic 08/08/08

By WoonYien

I guess most of us get to watch the LIVE broadcast from BeiJing for the open ceremony of The Beijing Olympic rite? yup!! It was magnificant.. mesmerized.. impressive and beautiful!! hahahaha! Director Zhang Yi MOu is so creative.. perhaps.. i think he made too much action kung fu movies.. Tehehehe!!

Here’s some nice shots i grab from many many sources. hahaha! Enjoy!!!

The torch lighting ceremony is by a 45 years old Gymnastic Champion, Li Ning.. He is lifted up in the air with the flame..

And he has to “RUN” for like 800 meter? or just 500 meter? don care la.. haha! its a long way anyway.. around the Bird Nest.. Oh.. imagine u r tied up with wire and u still have to “RUN” gracefully.. so pain neh.. ^^ *claps For Li Ning*

He ran towards the cauldron of the Olympic games and finally lights up the frame! How Beautiful the scene is neh.. hahahahaha!! Anyone has more pictures?? ^^

Oh.. how come No PANDA!!! argh.. i thought it would have pandas around.. its China bah.. *haih*

  21. Woah I seriously thought you were joking Hans L. Nobody watching the live feed would’ve noticed that BSOD..since it was projected under the stadium roof. And.. it lasted only for a few seconds.

Woon yien, check out the link Hans. L posted. you’ll see what a BSOD is. =D

  22. Pray for the last hope of Malaysia, Lee Zhong Wei, who is going to fight Lin Dan from China in final Badminton today. He will be really rich if he won the gold medal… If not mistaken, the reward is RM 1,000,000 ^_^

  28. Lose “mian-mian”…

WolfHermit on 17 August 2008 at 9:44 pm
  29. sighs… we can expect that result. he’s playing at Lin Dan’s soil and the odds are against him. 26.999mil of malaysia’s ppl are putting pressure on him to take the gold medal… but silver is better than none…

hostpur on 17 August 2008 at 10:04 pm
  30. cannot lah… Lin Dan too ganas liao, because he wanted to revenge the last thomas cup… haiz… it’s fine… a silver medal is very good already.

Chen on 17 August 2008 at 11:21 pm
  31. I heard Lin Dan vows that he won’t marry if he can’t get gold. Is it true?O_o

WolfHermit on 18 August 2008 at 5:23 pm
  32. no la… not that serious… lol… Chong Wei just cant chase up his speed, thats why he lose. hehe… dont so disappointed. =) a silver is very good liao .
