How to Boost Your Wireless Antenna

By Saad Kamal

Swintalk Video Friday Ep 1

If you have a wireless router in your house that is out of the range of your wireless device (e.g. your laptop), you can easily extend your wireless antenna transmission power of your router with this easy hack.

If you are experiencing a very slow wireless connection speed but you have no control over the router (such as in Swinburne Hostel), you can use the hack below to make a Wireless Range Extendeder for your laptop. So just plug it in with your laptop when you want the wireless range to be extended, position it properly and Rock the net!!

  2. @mrmoi88 – duh! of course its for “USB Wifi dongle”. On desperate situations, i guess buying a USB wifi card is better (even though the laptops come with built in WIFI).
