New Songs that you so need to download

By brendan goh

Hey, wassup! Y’all

I am Brendan and this will be my very first post on swintalk.

I have been wanting to blog something in here for quite a while but no topics can come out of my mind

But usually all my posts is on my flagship blog, www.brendanconfessions.blogspot.com. The link is available here and on swintalk’s list of bloggers under the name Brendan Goh. So anyways, I am basically a music addict, no song deemed cool to me is not in my beloved iPod named Maxt. Now my taste is more on to the pop, hip-hop and R&B side. But adding in a little rock and indie as well. Here are a list that you so need to download into your iPod and why. There is no rating cause every single one of them gets a 5/5 from me. Just download in and try it out, believe me, cause most of my recommendations rocked. Which means I have an AMAZINGLY GOOD taste in music.

1.The Man Who Can’t Be Moved by The Script

This song is like seriously awesome. Its sort of relaxing, sentimetal and meaningful at the same time. Guys, if you wanna set the mood and put the moves on a girl in the car, I strongly recommend this.

2.Crush by David Archuleta

Now we all now that other than Jason Castro (dude with seriously long dreadlocks), David Cook is another guy who is seriously overrated in American Idol 7. David Archuleta on the other hand ROCKS! His first single, Crush did way better than David Cook’s ‘Time of My Life’ on the BillboardĀ Hot 100. Plus I think girls will become serious Archuholics after listening to this. Heck, me and a few other guys are already serious Archuholics too.

3. Migrate by Mariah Carey

Now this is a song from here album E=MC2, not released as a single yet but the song really rocked it for me. Its the very first song from the album and it made me feel like I wanna Migrate. Plus its starts off the usual chillingly high Mariah notes which is cool. Plus I think that the music is a little more different than the past.

4.The World Should Revolve Around Me by Little Jackie

This girl got it going! Little Jackie is an artist that I have never heard of before, possibly new. But this song is making waves in the British music scene. She reminds me of a sassy version of Corrine Bailey Rae with a touch of Sara Barielles spunk and a little of Lil’ Mama. Plus this is definitely a feel good, girl power song.

5. If this is Love by The Saturdays

If you like Sugababes, Girls Aloud and Spice Girls, you would definitely adore the Saturdays. This song is good, just because it is.

6. Rabbit by Matt Duke

Its sentimentally romantic about a little Rabbit running. Cute and it feels like eating Gaelic Irish Cream in a nice little beach in a summer’s night.

7.Just Dance by Lady Gaga ft Colby O’ Donis

If you haven’t heard of the Estonian Lady Gaga and Colby O’ Donis aka Akon’s protege who sings ‘What You Got.’ then, where theĀ (expetive) have you been for the past year? This song is blazing towards number one on Canada and a great song for a party! Listen to it and Just Dance!

8. Bad Girl by Danity Kane

This is wild, hot and affectionately naughty. Just so you know girls, the cute and damsel in distress act, plus the powerpuff girl action (enlarging your eyes and puffing up your cheeks) when you take pictures is so over. Us guys want mean, saucy, ravishing Bad Girls!!!!!! Cause they rule!

9. Cry for you by September

A real cool song. Techno lovers will love this. Heck I love it too. It just seems good.

10. So What by Pink

‘So what I am a rockstar, I got my rock moves’ Pink is back with a new Single and I like it. So what? It rocks! If you don’t like it, I dont’ care and I am sure Pink doesn’t either. Do what you wanna do and Rock it out to show everyone you are alright!

  1. Okay. I’m gonna admit that I’ve never heard of any of the songs you’ve mentioned. *smacks forehead* Then again, that’s prolly because I’m more into Alternative Rock.

I should give your recommendations a try though. =D

  3. AMAZINGLY GOOD taste in music?? wow…
hmm… English songs only? how about other languages?
addicted to music huh? i guess you should be saying that you are addicted to girls huh? leaving girlish comments upon your recommendation.. your comments aren’t technical enough to describe music! terms such as architectonic structures, movements, modulations and so on.

  4. David Archuleta bores me pretty quick (I admit, I was attracted to him for the first few times in AI) because he can only sing ballads (too much ballads can make you sick) unlike David Cook who can sing more genres than Archuleta. :)

  5. Dude, like insult much?
I would like to make it a lot more complicated but I am not very techincal and objective when it comes to music.
Basically, i listen to it, take in the lyrics in the music and just tell everyone how I feel about it and recommend others to listen.
Music is all about feelings and expresssion not about techincal beats and sounds.
Plus others whose English might not be very good will tend not to understand some words.
Remember swintalk is for everyone so I try to make it as simple as possible
As for oher languages, well to tell you the truth, I don’t listen to them much.
Its not because I don’t like them, its because I just don’t pay much attention.
As for the girlish factor, well, I think its your opinion so I respect that since I have no right to judge it but to take into consideration
Plus, if you are so cool with the tech stuff well, why not you give a review to people who like it a lot more technical while i give my review in a more creative expression.
Its alright I think and we can make a great collabo.
