The Noodles

By johnsonwoan

For those who have been eating in Swinburne Cafeteria for many years, you will comprehend what am i trying to bring out right now.

Which is, of course, the super-duper-yummy-quality noodles which is no longer available and to be found in Cafeteria since early this year. What a sad news indeed.

I remembered every time when it comes to lunch break, i would certainly rush myself straight to the Cafeteria consistently, order my preferable noodles and enjoy every single bite. It tasted just so nice.

However, that very day when the tauke told me that it’s his last day of working in Cafeteria, i instantly felt so heart-rending. Not only me, i believe. To most of the students, faithful noodles eaters, and even the Swinburne Staffs, this was utterly a bad news for them. Bad bad news.

Right now, i really pine for the return of the tauke. Hoping to bring myself back to those times, sitting on the chair, and waiting patiently and desperately for Pak Loh Noodles, Curry Noodles, Beef Noodles, Chicken Mushroom Noodles, Lemon Chicken Noodles and so on.

  2. OMG I sincerely missed those curry noodles! Tasty and so darn cheap! I guess its safe to say he enjoys 90% of business in the cafeteria during peak hours.

No idea why he left.. I’ve spotted one of the tauke at 3rd mile’s Go Fun Kee though. =(

  3. hmm… actually i heard that the discontinuation is due to the tender thingy… **sigh** yea, i do actually agree that almost 90% of the business is conquered by this noodle tauke. Perhaps, it is because of this reason…

And actually the tauke is selling Kolomee at 3rd mile open air market every night. His stall is “NO:8″.. do support him there yea!

Wish that he will make a come to Swin Cafe one day!

  10. The Honey Chicken Rice doesn’t taste nice, not recommended actually. And yeah, I miss that stall too! It has the most delicious food ever in Swinburne.

I seldom eat there now, though.
